Sprout is built to know as little about you as possible. There are no accounts, no ads, and no tracking.
Your timer history, XP, levels, streaks, coins, cosmetics, and settings are stored in your browser/app's local storage on your device. They are never uploaded, and we cannot see them. Deleting the app (or clearing site data) deletes them.
If you join a study group, we store only: the group code, your chosen buddy name, and your weekly focus-session counts, so the group leaderboard can work. We never ask for or store real names, emails, ages, locations, schools, or photos in groups. There is no messaging of any kind. Groups are invite-only and under-13 users are asked to have a parent or teacher manage participation.
The optional Full Garden unlock is processed by Stripe (on the web) or Google Play (in the Android app). We do not receive or store your payment card details. Purchase verification uses only the payment provider's transaction token. On Android, Google Play's own privacy policy applies to the payment itself.
If you choose to join our mailing list or submit the safety contact form, we store the email address and message you provide, and use them only to respond or send the updates you asked for. Unsubscribe anytime.
No advertising. No advertising ID. No analytics SDKs. No selling or sharing of any data with third parties. No tracking across apps or websites.
Sprout's core timer works without providing any personal information. Study groups are gated: users who indicate they are under 13 are directed to have a parent or teacher set up participation, and we store nothing about them.
